Audit Internship – Summer 2027

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a summer intern to support its Internal Audit team. This role offers hands‑on experience in internal control, financial, compliance and operational audits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with internal control, financial, compliance and operational audits following IIA standards.
• Participate in walkthroughs and interviews with process owners and stakeholders.
• Identify risks, control gaps and process improvement opportunities.
• Support preparation of audit reports and presentations summarizing findings.
• Conduct data extraction and analysis using software tools.
• Assist with special audits or projects as assigned by audit management.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems Sciences or a related discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Outstanding organizational and time‑management skills.
