Landscaper III – $1,500 Sign‑on Bonus

About the role

The Makena Golf & Beach Club on Maui is seeking a Landscaper III to join its Landscape Department. You will help maintain the visual appeal of the club’s grounds, golf course, and residential properties, contributing to the overall Discovery Land Company experience for members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain landscapes across the golf course, club amenities, residential homes, and common areas, including weeding, mowing, string trimming, edging, mulching, fertilizing, pruning, and raking.
• Install new plantings and seasonal color displays at residential homes, on the course, and around the club.
• Water and care for new and seasonal plantings.
• Participate in leaf removal during dormant seasons.
• Apply chemicals and fertilizers safely to sustain healthy, attractive landscapes.
• Operate hand tools and equipment such as push mowers, zero‑turn mowers, and other landscape machinery.
• Keep work areas orderly, assist with department projects, and set up/close tools daily.
• Report safety or maintenance issues promptly to the Landscape Director.

Required profile

• Prior landscaping experience, preferably in residential or hospitality settings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles safely.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods.
