Technical Services Manager – Hardlines & Toys

About the role

The Technical Services Manager for Hardlines and Toys will lead technical, sales, marketing and new service development activities for the Sustainability Services portfolio within the Consumer Products Services Division. Reporting to the Sr. Director or VP of Global Technical Services, the role supports regional growth and ensures seamless implementation of services for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for social and environmental audits, ESG reporting, climate change, traceability and sustainable claims, and develop related methodologies.
• Collaborate with global sales teams to create and execute regional sales plans, deliver technical presentations, and lead the start‑up of new business engagements.
• Develop and maintain regional marketing materials, including sell sheets, bulletins, presentations and website content.
• Gather market intelligence on QHSE and sustainability trends, propose new service ideas, and manage regional product launches.
• Monitor regulatory changes, produce technical bulletins, and advise clients on compliance strategies.

• Effective oral and written communication, with strong presentation capabilities.

Required skills

• ESG reporting and sustainability audit expertise.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation and test method development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of social and environmental audit processes.
