Forestry Lead Auditor

About the role

The Forestry Lead Auditor oversees the audit process, technical activities, and governance for Bureau Veritas Certification in North America. The role ensures certification schemes operate without risk to the License to Operate, maintains client satisfaction, and drives program performance against key indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits according to scheme specifications and Bureau Veritas requirements.
• Complete and submit audit reports, and manage closure of non‑conformities.
• Perform technical file reviews and make certification decisions.
• Analyse customer satisfaction surveys and handle complaints and appeals.
• Coordinate internal audits, corrective actions, and management review inputs.
• Support sales activities to sustain revenue growth and maintain customer satisfaction above 80%.
• Deliver webinars, white papers, and e‑learning content to clients.
• Liaise with external oversight bodies and internal departments such as scheduling and account management.
