Juvenile Program Manager – Hall CSO & HITS

About the role

The Department of Juvenile Justice seeks a Juvenile Program Manager to supervise staff, provide social services, and develop rehabilitation plans for offenders in custody or on probation.

Key responsibilities

• Interview probationers and parolees to assess progress and compliance with probation contracts.
• Recommend remedial or court actions for non‑compliance and administer drug/alcohol testing.
• Prepare and maintain case files, write progress reports, and testify in court regarding offender backgrounds.
• Coordinate medical, mental health, and substance‑abuse treatment services as ordered.
• Supervise community‑based sentences, conduct curfew checks, and provide field supervision.

Required profile

• Associate degree with five years related experience or seven years direct case‑management experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Or two years in a lower‑level Juvenile Probation/Parole specialist position.
• Must obtain and maintain State of Georgia POST certification within six months of hire.
