HR Generalist - Second Shift

About the role

HD Supply is looking for an HR Generalist to support a fast-paced, complex operation at its Burlington facility, working closely with associates and leaders. The role covers staffing, compensation, benefits, learning, associate relations and performance management, and requires willingness to work a late shift schedule, Monday to Friday 2 PM to 11 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR support and counsel to a business or functional line, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
• Act as liaison between HR and other departments and functional experts.
• Administer core HR programs: staffing, associate relations, compensation, benefits, performance management and learning.
• Develop solutions to HR issues and consult management on the interpretation and administration of HR policies.
• Investigate and resolve associate relations issues with managers and associates.
• Support staffing through sourcing, interviewing candidates and reference checks.
• Analyze data to resolve missing or inconsistent information, and work with increasing independence.

Required profile

• Willingness to work a late shift schedule (Monday-Friday 2 PM-11 PM).
• Preferred: 3+ years of HR Generalist experience in supply chain, manufacturing or distribution, with a background in employee relations, workplace investigations and employee engagement.
• Preferred: BS/BA in a related discipline, or MS/MA with 2-4 years of related experience.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, able to influence leadership and work independently or in a team.

Required skills

• Preferred: proficiency in MS Office suite, Workday and UKG WFMS.
• Data analysis skills.
