Future Talent Program – PADT & LMA Summer Internship

About the role

The Future Talent Program offers a 10‑12 week summer internship in Pharmaceutical Analysis & Digital Technology (PADT) and Large Molecule Analytical (LMA). Interns will work in state‑of‑the‑art labs across several US locations, developing analytical methods that support drug substance and product development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute novel analytical methodologies for small molecules, biologics, and vaccines.
• Address product and process characterization challenges in a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain accurate electronic lab notebooks and analyze data for internal or external scientific publications.
• Present research findings in both oral and written formats to departmental and project teams.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate, or PhD student in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical/Biological Engineering, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field.
• Available full‑time for 10‑12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2027.
• Completed at least two years of study by June 2027 with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong interest in analytical sciences for small molecules, vaccines, or biologics.

Required skills

• Basic laboratory skills including lab notebook recording and safe lab practices.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation such as mass spectrometry, NMR, and high‑throughput screening platforms.
• Data analysis and interpretation, including use of statistical or machine‑learning tools.
