About the role
Northwest is seeking a full‑time teller to join its Wellsboro branch. The teller will be the primary point of contact for customers, delivering a high‑quality service experience and supporting the branch’s financial goals.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, process transactions, balance the teller drawer daily and assist with vault, ATM and dual‑control procedures.
- Identify referral opportunities, contribute to sales performance goals, and direct customers to appropriate specialists.
- Resolve customer issues, answer questions, and provide product and service information.
- Participate in branch meetings, huddles, and opening/closing tasks as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; customer‑service experience preferred.
- Cash‑handling experience and basic knowledge of banking or retail environments preferred.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends on a scheduled basis.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications.
- Experience using teller systems and handling cash transactions.
- Strong communication and active‑listening abilities.
