About the role

This full‑time night position provides direct patient care on the MedSurg/Telemetry unit at St. Bernard Parish Hospital. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse, delivering high‑quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

Perform nursing process activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for assigned patients.
Administer IV therapy, medications, and basic life support as needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and assist ancillary nursing staff.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
No prior experience required; new graduates are welcome.
