About the role
The Family Medicine Residency Program Director will lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all educational and administrative activities of the family medicine residency program at Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Key responsibilities
- Direct the curriculum, accreditation compliance, and strategic growth of the residency program.
- Supervise, mentor, and teach residents across hospital and community sites.
- Provide direct patient care at multiple family health centers.
- Lead academic activities including research, manuscript preparation, and presentations.
- Represent the residency program locally, regionally, and nationally.
Required profile
- MD or DO degree accredited from a Family Medicine Residency Program.
- Board certified in Family Medicine.
- Minimum five years of full‑time professional experience in family medicine.
- Teaching experience in a Family Medicine residency program.
Required skills
- Curriculum development and evaluation.
- Research and scholarly activity.
- Mentoring and supervision of residents.
