About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift position at its Schuylkill campus. The role involves delivering professional nursing care, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients, collaborating with physicians and team members.
• Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course to support effective transitions of care.
• Participate in evidence‑based practice, performance improvement processes, and unit‑based patient experience goals.
• Perform validated technical skills specific to the unit and utilize technology to optimize care delivery.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage patient assignments in a fast‑paced environment.
• Successful completion of unit‑specific orientation and competency assessments.
• Basic computer skills and certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
