Family Medicine Physician

About the role

The Family Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive health care to patients of all ages, emphasizing preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment. The role demands professional, ethical practice and compassionate patient interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations for adults and children, including pre‑employment, school, sports, and well‑child screenings.
• Develop individualized care plans, deliver high‑quality medical care, and document health education.
• Review referral and consultant reports, arrange follow‑up, and answer medical questions in the absence of senior staff.
• Assist in staff training, participate in provider meetings, chart review, and quality‑assurance activities.
• Supervise physician assistants, nurse practitioners, resident physicians, and students.
• Provide backup for nursing and medical directors, handling prescription calls, physician inquiries, patient advice, triage, and scheduling support.

Required profile

• Current Medical License from the Medical Board of California.
• Medical Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. medical school.
• Active DEA registration.
• Board Certification or eligibility in a primary‑care specialty (highly preferred).
• Knowledge of standard of care in the community.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and lead clinic operations.
• Pass a full background check.
