Comprehensive Perinatal Services (CPSP) Clinician

About the role

The Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) Clinician will implement and promote a range of psychosocial services for pregnant women in a community clinic setting. The role focuses on assessment, therapy, crisis response, and coordination with medical providers, serving a largely Spanish‑speaking, low‑income population.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial mental health assessments and conduct individual and group therapy.
• Provide crisis response and collaborate with medical providers to encourage compliance with prenatal care.
• Develop educational materials and act as liaison with health, education, welfare, and community agencies.
• Maintain accurate records, complete timely documentation, and participate in staff development.

Required profile

• Licensed clinician (LCSW or MFT) or Registered Associate (ACSW or AMFT) with the BBS.
• Bilingual English/Spanish with strong written and speaking skills.
• At least 1 year of CPSP experience (preferred) or 2 years as a clinician.
• Excellent leadership, collaborative, and team‑building abilities.

Required skills

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
