Job description
Applied Materials is seeking an Equipment Engineer III (E3) to develop procedures, best known methods, and technical documentation for new semiconductor equipment. The role involves contributing to FMECA, building and testing chambers, solving field issues, partnering with quality and reliability teams, and leading CAPA and failure analysis activities. You will create installation, retrofit, and maintenance manuals, as well as customer engineering notices, internal service bulletins, and troubleshooting guides. The engineer will collect process and qualification data, develop training packages, and train customer engineers, process engineers, and technical product support staff. Collaboration with manufacturing, global technical training, and parts stocking teams is required to ensure smooth product launches and ongoing support.
