Environmental Services Aide – Housekeeping – 2nd Shift PRN

About the role

This position provides essential cleaning and environmental services for patient, guest, clinical and administrative areas at the Chabert Campus. The aide works the 2nd shift on a PRN (as‑needed) basis, ensuring a safe, aseptic environment for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain assigned areas in a clean and aseptic condition.
• Keep the environmental closet and equipment organized and sanitary.
• Assist with restocking the campus café and bar when required.
• Support special cleaning projects and room turnover tasks.
• Follow Joint Commission and CMS regulations related to Environment of Care and cleaning.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read, write and understand verbal communication in English.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping practices and cleaning supplies.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed.
• Capability to listen, take direction and complete tasks independently.

Required skills

• Experience operating environmental services equipment such as dust mops, wet mops, buckets and wringers, spray bottles and dustpans.
• Basic proficiency with housekeeping tools and cleaning equipment.
