Customer Activation Manager

About the role

Ramp is seeking a Customer Activation Manager to drive value for newly closed customers by implementing Ramp’s finance platform. You will partner with Commercial Account Managers, guide onboarding, and help shape the implementation organization.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure fast, thorough onboarding of new customers by educating them on Ramp’s functionality and best practices.
• Work with customers to understand workflows, pain points, and obstacles to full rollout.
• Drive revenue by preventing delays in implementation and continuously selling the high‑value benefits of Ramp.
• Become an expert in integration and configuration options for Ramp’s product suite.
• Partner with product teams to prioritize customer feedback.
• Balance multiple priorities across implementation, follow‑up, and proactive outreach.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices for onboarding workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer success, account management, or product operations in a B2B environment.
• Exceptional project and time management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of exceeding quotas or key metrics.
• High adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup.

Required skills

• Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
