This professional‑staff position balances 70 % agricultural activities with 30 % 4‑H responsibilities, serving as a key link between the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture and the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct educational programs for county residents covering agriculture practices and 4‑H youth development.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Arkansas Extension programs and apply them to local needs.
• Serve as a liaison between the university, community leaders, agencies, and government officials to promote participation and support.
• Develop and deliver outreach activities, workshops, and resources that reflect the county’s social, economic, and political characteristics.
