Corporate Lawyer – French‑Speaking (Mid‑Senior)

About the role

Our client, a leading full‑service law firm in midtown Manhattan, is expanding its International Corporate practice. They are seeking a French‑speaking corporate attorney with solid transactional experience to advise French‑based clients on U.S. corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead M&A and other corporate transactions, including due diligence, document review, risk identification, drafting, and closing.
• Draft and review a wide range of corporate and commercial agreements.
• Advise French clients on U.S. corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and day‑to‑day operational issues.
• Handle stock transfer agreements, joint‑venture structures, corporate reorganisations, and merger documentation.
• Provide practical legal guidance on routine company operations.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of outside general‑counsel corporate transactional experience.
• Admission to practice law in New York State.
• Fluency in French, both written and spoken.
• Mid‑ to senior‑level professional able to work independently.
