Construction Project Manager (Southern USA)

About the role

The Construction Project Manager will lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex, multi‑phase construction projects across the southern United States, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive overall direction, completion, and outcomes of assigned retail and construction projects, from entitlement through close‑out.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors, managing budgets, schedules, change orders, and client communications.
• Monitor milestones, provide regular status reports, and maintain detailed project documentation.
• Identify and mitigate risks, perform regular assessments, and implement continuous‑improvement feedback loops.
• Travel to project sites across the U.S. (up to 90% of schedule) by plane, vehicle, or train.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) with at least three years of construction project management experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining safety and physical job demands.

Required skills

• PMP certification (preferred) or equivalent project management expertise.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and ability to read and interpret complex project documents.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management of construction projects.
