Clinical Science Postdoctoral Research Fellow

About the role

The Alnylam Clinical Science Postdoctoral Research Fellowship is a two‑year, full‑time, onsite position based in Cambridge, MA. Fellows work within Alnylam’s Clinical Development organization, gaining hands‑on experience in clinical science, regulatory documentation, and data analysis while collaborating with Northeastern University faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clinical development plans, protocol concepts, and full protocols for early‑stage products.
• Contribute to regulatory documents such as Investigators’ Brochures, IND/NDA submissions, and safety updates.
• Review and analyze medical data during study execution to ensure data integrity.
• Build relationships with investigators to optimize study design, execution, and publication.
• Participate in advisory boards, investigator meetings, and protocol training sessions.

Required profile

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE‑accredited institution.
• Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in Massachusetts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time‑management, leadership, and independent work abilities.
• Proven project‑management experience in a fast‑paced, matrix environment.
