About the role

Ochsner is seeking a Clinic RN Supervisor to lead nursing care at Ochsner St. Mary in Morgan City. The role involves directing patient care, supervising staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality services.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure effective and safe delivery of patient care using the nursing process.
• Supervise, train, and develop licensed and ancillary team members.
• Coordinate clinical operations and maintain required clinical knowledge and credentials of nursing staff.
• Adapt communication and behavior to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Current RN license in the state of practice and CPR certification.
• Strong organizational, judgment, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Current registered nurse (RN) license.
• CPR certification.
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS, and clinical‑area specific credentials.
