Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) – Home Health/Clinic

About the role

The SPEAK Center for Language and Learning seeks a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high‑quality OT services to children with developmental disabilities in home or clinic settings across Arizona.

Key responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by OTs, focusing on fine motor, sensory integration, self‑care, and play skills.
• Provide direct therapeutic interventions under OT supervision, using adaptive equipment and various modalities.
• Engage children and families, offering education and support for skill development at home and in the community.
• Monitor progress, document sessions and progress notes, and maintain a safe therapeutic environment.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent and valid AZ COTA license.
• At least six months experience with children with developmental disabilities (ASD preferred) or recent graduate with relevant experience.
• Fingerprint clearance card, CPR/First Aid/Article 9 training, and professional liability insurance.

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
