About the role
Cabinet Peaks Medical Center seeks dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate, high‑quality care in the Acute Care/Med Surg department on a PRN (as‑needed) basis.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care under RN supervision.
- Communicate patient status changes to RNs and other healthcare providers.
- Support patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and transport to Libby Care Center.
- Perform point‑of‑care testing and operate equipment safely.
- Document care according to policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current MT CNA license.
- BLS certification preferred or obtainable within 3 months of hire.
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred, not required.
Required skills
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
