Housekeeping Tech, Part Time

About the role

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking a part‑time Housekeeping Technician to join its Environmental Services team at the Libby location. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting all areas of the medical center and ancillary buildings while maintaining knowledge of equipment and supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assigned cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting duties with thoroughness and accuracy.
• Maintain utility and janitor closets in an orderly condition and keep housekeeping carts stocked at the end of each shift.
• Clean, store and report any failures of EVS equipment, use chemicals appropriately, and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Refill supplies and dispensers as needed and follow departmental dress code and attendance policies.

Required profile

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must meet local health regulations, including a criminal background check and reference inquiry.
• Current Montana state driver’s license.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of commercial cleaners and equipment (preferred).
• Basic computer use for following written and oral instructions.
