Certified Nurse Midwife (Full Time)

About the role

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center seeks a Certified Nurse Midwife to join its OB/GYN team, providing independent obstetric and gynecological care, managing labor, and delivering comprehensive women’s health services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage labor admissions, assess maternal and fetal status, and conduct deliveries.
• Provide routine prenatal, postpartum, well‑woman examinations, family planning, and STD/HIV care.
• Perform first assist on cesarean sections, administer medications safely, and conduct point‑of‑care testing.
• Collaborate with OB/GYN, Family Medicine OB, and Maternal‑Fetal Medicine specialists.

Required profile

• Master’s or DNP in nursing with a midwifery specialty.
• Active RN license (MT or compact state) and AMCB certification.
• DEA and state prescriptive authority, current BLS certification.
• Minimum two years CNM experience with 120‑200 deliveries.

Required skills

• Basic computer knowledge.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, Intermediate EFM, and PALS certifications (to be obtained within 3 months of hire).
• DEA and state prescriptive authority.
