Imaging Scheduler – Full Time

About the role

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking for an Imaging Scheduler to manage front‑desk operations and coordinate patient imaging procedures, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front‑desk duties, greet and check‑in patients, maintain a clean and orderly reception area.
• Accurately schedule imaging services, explain exam preparation, and verify medical necessity.
• Coordinate equipment and supply availability, handle billing tasks, and close exams in MediTech.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and providers, maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.
• Perform reminder calls, obtain valid physician orders, and respond to voicemails promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to work well in a team environment and interact positively with staff, patients, and physicians.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet browsing.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) and PACS imaging systems.
