Autonomous Systems Instructor

About the role

The Autonomous Systems Instructor will serve as a subject‑matter expert delivering advanced training to U.S. Special Operations Forces and inter‑agency personnel. The role combines classroom instruction with hands‑on guidance in autonomous and unmanned system technologies, ensuring curricula stay aligned with current doctrine and operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials for autonomous and unmanned systems.
• Provide classroom and practical training on small unmanned systems, additive manufacturing, CAD, tactical communications, mapping, and Multi‑Domain Operations concepts.
• Update lesson products in response to doctrinal changes and submit recommendations to government stakeholders.
• Ensure all training complies with Department of the Army, T2C, and USAJFKSWCS regulations.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107) and Basic Unmanned Aircraft Systems Qualification I & II.
• Understanding of UAS mission sets (ISR, SAR, military, etc.) and experience maintaining and troubleshooting UAS hardware/software.
