Associate Specialist, Engineering – Packaging & Assembly

About the role

Join the Packaging and Assembly Technical Leadership team to help bring new medicines to patients. This early‑career engineering position offers hands‑on experience in technical problem‑solving, risk management, technology transfer, and lifecycle improvement across a global network.

Key responsibilities

• Provide packaging and assembly expertise to ensure scientific rigor and execution excellence across the platform portfolio.
• Develop and execute robust technical plans for device assembly, packaging, distribution and logistics.
• Analyze data, participate in technical reviews and explore alternative approaches to solve problems.
• Support proactive risk management, including assessment, mitigation and communication.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet safety, efficacy, quality and supply standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in packaging, mechanical, chemical, biochemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, chemistry or related discipline.
• Exposure to assembly, packaging or manufacturing processes through coursework, internships, co‑ops, research or work experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and technical writing skills.
