Associate Manager – Business Solutions – Order-to-Cash & EDI

About the role

The Associate Manager – Business Solutions will support Barilla’s Americas operations by managing SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes and EDI integrations. This hybrid position combines technical development, functional analysis, and project leadership to deliver stable, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end SAP OTC and EDI projects from requirements gathering through deployment and post‑go‑live support.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex SAP application and integration issues, performing root‑cause analysis and system debugging.
• Provide Level 2/3 production support for IDoc monitoring, exception handling, and middleware integration (PI/PO or third‑party providers).
• Maintain EDI partner profiles, port configurations, and message types across X12, EDIFACT, XML formats.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend SAP‑aligned solutions to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience supporting SAP applications with a focus on business analysis, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to partner with business stakeholders and global SAP experts.
• Experience working in a global, multi‑site environment, preferably in CPG or manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Required skills

• SAP OTC processes (order management, pricing, billing, credit, rebates).
• ABAP development and debugging.
• IDoc and EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML).
• Middleware platforms such as SAP PI/PO, Gentran, Sterling, Seeburger.
• S/4HANA development (CDS, AMDP, OData, BTP).
• Job scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys) and ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
