Associate Director, Launch Excellence & Portfolio Capability Management

About the role

The Associate Director will lead Global Launch Excellence and Portfolio Management initiatives for Livestock and Companion Animal products, coordinating end‑to‑end product launches and portfolio activities.

Key responsibilities

• Mobilize and govern Key Revenue Driver (KRD) launch squads, serving as the primary Launch Excellence contact for designated product launches.
• Coordinate launch governance forums, monitor performance, risks and milestones, and provide senior leadership with transparent launch status.
• Develop, deploy and continuously improve launch capabilities, tools and frameworks such as New Product Prioritization, Control Tower and IRIS.
• Drive organizational enablement through training, communications, toolkits and best‑practice sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in launch operations, PMO, process excellence or related fields within a matrixed global environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional programs without direct authority and influence senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Strong project and program management capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for reporting and visualization.
• Experience with project‑management platforms such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or Planisware.
