Account Executive - Video Advertising

About the role

Katz Radio Group, part of Katz Media Group, is hiring an Account Executive in Chicago. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will help drive the sales organization forward by generating new business and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. The company represents the on-air and online assets of more than 4,000 radio stations and 800 television stations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of video advertising and the Katz CTV platform
• Secure client meetings and strategically position the platform to enhance revenue
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across client segments
• Research and prospect new accounts, identify key decision-makers and engage senior agency and client decision-makers in discovery conversations
• Prepare and respond to RFPs professionally
• Drive revenue across diverse verticals, provide regular business forecasts and achieve and surpass revenue targets
• Collaborate with Account Managers on post-sales and with cross-functional teams on campaign execution

Required profile

• 4-year college degree
• Over 3 years of experience in digital advertising
• In-depth knowledge of the online advertising industry, especially video advertising
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
• Experience prospecting and pursuing new business
• Knowledge of the media industry and sales processes, and ability to build a territory plan or account approach

Required skills

• Consultative, solution-oriented selling and strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in ad campaign metrics and performance analysis
• Active listening and influencing skills to drive sales
