Account Executive - CTV Sales

About the role

Katz Digital, part of Katz Media Group, is seeking an Account Executive to join its CTV team in Chicago or Detroit. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the role drives new business and acts as a trusted advisor to clients, working with senior agencies and client decision-makers. The position is full-time and salaried, with eligibility for commissions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of video advertising and the Katz CTV platform
• Secure client meetings and pursue new business across client segments
• Research and prospect new accounts, identify key decision-makers and prepare responses to RFPs
• Hold high-level discovery conversations with senior agencies and client leaders
• Prepare and respond to RFPs professionally
• Drive revenue across diverse verticals, provide regular business forecasts and achieve and exceed revenue targets
• Collaborate with Account Managers on post-sales and with cross-functional teams on campaign execution

Required profile

• 4-year college degree
• Over 3 years of experience in digital advertising or traditional TV sales
• In-depth knowledge of the online advertising industry, especially video advertising
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
• Experience prospecting and pursuing new business proactively
• Knowledge of the media industry and related sales processes

Required skills

• Consultative, solution-oriented selling and strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in ad campaign metrics and performance analysis
• Ability to build a territory plan or account approach
