About the role
The Event Services Manager at Grand Hyatt Seattle leads the banquet and event team to deliver memorable experiences for guests. This position combines hands‑on service expertise with leadership, ensuring every event space is visually appealing and operationally flawless.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, train and supervise banquet staff, providing clear instructions and on‑the‑job coaching.
- Design and set up event spaces, including table layouts, linens, food stations and beverage service.
- Present menu options to clients and coordinate with kitchen teams to ensure accurate execution.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation and overall room presentation.
- Assist with general banquet preparation, room turnover and inventory management.
Required profile
- Strong desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast‑paced environment.
- Physical stamina to lift moderate loads and stand for extended periods.
- Proven experience in banquet or event service operations.
- Deep understanding of hospitality service standards and attention to detail.
