About the role
The Director of Recruitment will shape and execute enterprise‑wide hiring strategies for a multi‑unit hospitality portfolio, covering both restaurant operations and corporate functions. Reporting to senior leadership, this remote role partners closely with Executive Leadership, Human Resources, and Operations while traveling to support new restaurant openings and hiring events.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead recruitment strategies aligned with company growth and staffing objectives.
- Partner with Executive Leadership, HR, and Operations to support workforce planning across all business units.
- Lead high‑volume recruitment for restaurant operations, corporate roles, and new restaurant openings.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and high‑volume positions.
- Oversee employer branding, recruitment marketing, sourcing strategies, and hiring campaigns.
- Design and improve recruiting processes, interview practices, and hiring workflows.
- Analyze recruiting metrics, labor market trends, and workforce data to inform strategy.
- Manage recruiting systems, ATS performance, sourcing tools, and agency relationships.
- Ensure compliance with hiring policies, employment laws, and best practices.
- Oversee candidate selection, offer processes, pre‑employment screening, and onboarding coordination.
- Travel as needed to support hiring events, multi‑unit initiatives, and new openings.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Hospitality Management or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 7–10+ years of progressive recruitment or talent acquisition experience, including leadership in hospitality or multi‑unit environments.
- Proven success leading high‑volume, multi‑state recruitment in fast‑growing organizations.
- Experience supporting executive recruitment, workforce planning, and new restaurant openings.
- Strong business acumen with ability to influence executive and operational leaders.
- Knowledge of employment laws, recruiting compliance, and hiring best practices.
- Analytical mindset with experience using recruiting metrics for decision‑making.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
- Experience using recruiting platforms and sourcing tools.
