Contingent Workforce Staffing Consultant – Austin, TX

About the role

The Contingent Workforce Staffing Consultant partners with hiring managers to source and place temporary or contract talent for on‑site operations in Austin, TX. You will act as a trusted advisor, leveraging procurement technology and market knowledge to meet client workforce needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide staffing support for a variety of positions using a consultative approach.
• Conduct needs‑assessment calls with hiring managers and recommend sourcing strategies.
• Utilize procurement and Vendor Management System (VMS) tools to move requisitions through internal processes.
• Prepare and present talent community, team performance, and VMS data to leadership and clients.
• Monitor daily requisition progress, manage candidate assessments, and ensure high‑quality shortlists.
• Support financial processes including time‑card, expense management, invoicing, and rate negotiations.
• Coordinate facility tours, interview scheduling, and candidate onboarding activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in workforce management and contingent staffing.
• Familiarity with procurement technology and VMS platforms.
• Strong client‑facing communication skills and ability to drive consultative discussions.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
