Capital & Inventory Financial Analyst

About the role

The Capital & Inventory Financial Analyst provides financial oversight, reporting and analysis for Bosch Charleston's VM division. The role ensures accurate valuation of inventory and capital assets, supports operational performance and drives informed business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end capital expenditure (CAPEX) controlling, including planning, monitoring, reporting and governance of capital investments.
• Manage accounting and financial reporting of capital assets, covering project capitalization, asset‑in‑service tracking, fixed‑asset records and month‑end close activities.
• Monitor capital project performance against budgets and forecasts, analyse variances, identify risks and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop capital expenditure forecasts, annual budgets and long‑range investment plans aligned with divisional objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in capital planning, reporting and internal control processes while supporting audit requirements.
• Lead inventory controlling activities, ensuring accurate valuation, financial reporting, reconciliation and compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance or accounting, preferably with experience in capital assets and inventory control.
• Ability to work closely with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to provide financial insights.
• Proven analytical skills and a detail‑oriented approach to financial data.
• Understanding of internal controls, variance analysis and financial governance.
