Retail Merchandising Specialist

About the role

Join BDS Connected Solutions as a Retail Merchandising Specialist, working on independent projects with leading consumer electronics brands. The role offers weekly pay, paid training, and a variety of assignments across retail locations.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to assigned stores within a 60‑mile radius to audit, maintain, and install electronics displays such as TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, and phones.
• Collaborate with team members on 2–3‑person projects like appliance or TV installations.
• Build and maintain positive in‑store relationships and complete assignments as directed by the BDS Manager.
• Report completion and upload photos using a personal smartphone or tablet with GPS.
• Receive materials at home or via FedEx and deliver them to retail locations as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous merchandising, customer service, or retail experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with BDS and store personnel.
• Must be 18 years or older, legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Flexible availability: minimum 20 hours per week, Monday‑Friday early morning to midday, occasional weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with personal Android or Apple device (smartphone/tablet) and GPS functionality.
• Own a basic toolkit (multi‑screwdriver, torx bits, hammer, cordless drill, etc.) – reimbursement after probation.
• Ability to lift 40+ lb, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks required on‑site.
