US Subject Matter Expert – People Solutions Center

About the role

We are looking for a US Subject Matter Expert to join our People Solutions Center. The specialist will act as the functional authority for compliance‑critical HR processes across the United States, providing backup support for North America supervisors and ensuring alignment with federal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SME for US Benefits, US Accommodations (medical and religious), Form I‑9 employment eligibility, US Unemployment claims, and US Work Authorization.
• Interpret policies, regulations and internal standards, and ensure consistent execution across PSC teams.
• Own, maintain and periodically review SOPs and knowledge‑base documentation to support audits, compliance reviews and quality assessments.
• Act as the final escalation point for complex, high‑risk cases, resolve issues within service‑level expectations and recommend process improvements.
• Provide real‑time guidance to advisors, case coordinators and supervisors, and deliver onboarding and refresher training for new and existing staff.
• Partner with PSC leadership under Sarah Ording to support governance, risk mitigation and continuous capability uplift.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in US HR compliance areas such as benefits, accommodations, I‑9, unemployment and work authorization.
• Strong ability to interpret and apply federal regulations and internal policies.
• Experience delivering training, managing escalations and maintaining process documentation.
• Proven collaboration skills with cross‑functional leadership.
