Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the Americas region and its FinTech segment. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and management reporting while partnering with finance and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across countries, products, customers, or business functions in the Americas.
• Prepare and analyze financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior year, highlighting drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Assist month‑end close activities, including variance analysis, commentary, and reporting in collaboration with Controllers and Global Business Services.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models, management reports, and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or other analytics platforms.
• Drive standardization and automation initiatives for reporting and planning processes.
• Partner with business and finance teams on strategic initiatives such as business case analysis, pricing analysis, and growth opportunity evaluation.
• Produce clear, accurate financial materials for leadership reviews and decision forums.
• Respond to ad‑hoc financial analysis requests and ensure adherence to internal controls and data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Prior experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
