Director, Portfolio Management

About the role

The Director, Portfolio Management will lead the strategic oversight of Invesco Real Estate’s open‑ended core fund. Reporting to the Co‑Lead Portfolio Manager, you will act as a bridge between senior leadership, investment teams, and external stakeholders, driving a performance‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Instill a performance‑first mindset across all investment and portfolio decisions.
• Develop and refine hold/sell analyses, providing clear guidance to transaction and asset‑management teams.
• Prepare and present investment rationales, performance attribution, and strategic fit for Investment Committee meetings.
• Quantify material investment decisions, including lease execution, disposition timing, and capital deployment trade‑offs.
• Lead client and stakeholder communications, tailoring performance attribution for external and internal audiences.
• Prepare formal presentations, talking points, and briefing materials for client conferences, webcasts, and committee meetings.

Required profile

• Extensive investment acumen in real‑estate portfolio management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex investment rationales succinctly.
• Proven ability to operate independently and with precision across multiple internal and external responsibilities.
• Experience collaborating with transaction, asset‑management, and client‑facing teams.
