About the role

BRG Communications is seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to join its award‑winning team. This hybrid role blends on‑site collaboration in Alexandria with remote work, offering the chance to contribute to health‑focused campaigns for a diverse client roster.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct media and influencer research, develop editorial calendars and analyst lists.
• Provide teams with industry‑relevant news and research insights.
• Track media coverage, manage coverage grids, and prepare client reports.
• Secure media opportunities across trade, consumer, and business outlets.
• Draft pitches, speaking abstracts, client communications, and other business writing.
• Monitor and draft social media content for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Collaborate with vendors and manage deliverables.
• Produce client status reports and briefing materials for meetings.
• Participate actively in client and internal meetings, offering creative solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
• 1‑2 solid internships in communications or related fields.
• Fast learner with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent writing and communication abilities.
• Creative, self‑motivated, and highly organized.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑moving environment.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a proactive approach.
