Full-Time Paid Fall Intern – PR Agency

About the role

BRG Communications is seeking a full‑time, paid intern to join its public‑relations team this fall. The position is hybrid, based in Alexandria, VA, with office days on Mondays and Wednesdays. You will work on real client projects, receive mentorship, and gain hands‑on experience in media relations and research.

Key responsibilities

• Track media coverage and maintain coverage grids.
• Conduct industry research to support media interview preparation.
• Research digital influencers, potential partners, trade shows, and speaking opportunities.
• Assist with business‑development research and client media list updates using Cision.
• Support consumer and trade media outreach efforts.

Required profile

• Recent college graduate with strong interest in public relations.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous internship experience preferred.
