Healthcare Communications Director

About the role

BRG Communications is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its healthcare communications practice. The role combines strategic planning, creative execution, and client partnership to deliver impactful health‑focused campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with agency leadership to develop and manage client engagements, including planning, creative concepts, execution, evaluation, staffing, budgets and timelines.
• Translate complex scientific data into clear, actionable messages for healthcare professionals, media, influencers, patients and caregivers.
• Write and promote scientific data releases around clinical studies, guidelines and regulatory milestones (FDA/EMEA/CMS).
• Provide clients with deep insight into the healthcare media, patient‑advocacy and influencer landscape.
• Leverage medical congress presentations, peer‑review journal publications and other milestones to secure coverage in trade and consumer media.
• Create patient‑education campaigns and initiatives that influence clinical decision‑making and referral pathways.
• Ensure all social‑media and digital activations comply with healthcare regulations.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of agency experience focused on healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, digital health, diagnostics or patient advocacy.
• Proven track record of managing full‑cycle communications projects for health‑related clients.
• Experience in health equity and reaching underserved populations is a plus.
