Public Area Attendant – Full‑Time Housekeeping

About the role

The Public Area Attendant ensures that the lobby and all public spaces of Fairmont Orchid are clean, orderly, and welcoming. Working full‑time on‑site, you will contribute directly to a positive guest experience by maintaining the resort’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Own assigned lobby and public areas, performing regular cleaning, spot‑sweeping, carpet dusting, and glass door/mirror polishing.
• Maintain elevators, windows, vents, and other high‑traffic surfaces free of fingerprints and debris.
• Restock paper supplies and amenities in public restrooms, ensuring proper cleanliness at all times.
• Take initiative to add personalized touches that enhance the guest experience.
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team, following established cleaning schedules and standards.

Required profile

• Ability to work a full‑time schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.
