Procurement Management Development Associate

About the role

Join Nestlé Purina’s Management Development Associate program as a Procurement Management Development Associate. You will rotate through multiple functions—including quality assurance, supply chain, engineering, and operations—to learn how procurement supports the end‑to‑end manufacturing process. The role is based at the Davenport, Iowa factory and includes relocation support as you move between sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage sourcing strategies that ensure cost‑effective procurement while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance.
• Partner with functional groups to define material and supplier requirements and support business continuity planning.
• Gain hands‑on experience in internal and external procurement operations, including material life‑cycle, production scheduling, and forecasting.
• Build relationships across account management, customer teams, and external suppliers.
• Complete training in warehouse, transportation, and customer‑service functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field (expected by June 2027).
• Willingness to relocate to any of Nestlé Purina’s 24 U.S. manufacturing sites during the program.
• Start rotation at the Davenport, Iowa plant.
• Prior internship, co‑op or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Leadership experience through student organizations or similar activities preferred.
