About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking part‑time forklift operators for its Davenport, IA service center. You will move a variety of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, operating on a roofed but non‑climate‑controlled dock.
Key responsibilities
- Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
- Read manifests and interact with computer displays to track loads.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous forklift experience, preferably in a fast‑paced LTL setting.
