Part‑Time Forklift Operator – Loader III

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a part‑time Forklift Operator (Loader III) for its Davenport, IA service center. The shift runs Monday‑Friday from 5 pm to 10 pm, paying $25.39 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock to move freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
• Load and unload various types of freight safely and efficiently.
• Handle paperwork by reading manifests and updating computer displays as required.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
• Some LTL (less‑than‑truckload) experience is a plus.
