About the role
The Veterans Health Administration is seeking a board‑eligible or board‑certified Physician to join a Primary Care – Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT). This full‑time position provides comprehensive primary‑care services to veterans, with eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality primary‑care evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up for veteran patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary PACT members to coordinate patient‑centered care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
- Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and adhere to VA clinical guidelines.
- Teach and mentor medical trainees when applicable.
Required profile
- U.S. citizenship (or eligible non‑citizen as per VA policy).
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from a VA‑approved school.
- Full, unrestricted state medical license.
- Completion of an ACGME‑ or AOA‑approved residency in a core specialty leading to board eligibility.
- Eligibility for board certification (required for faculty status).
Required skills
- Medical licensure and residency training compliance.
- Knowledge of VA policies and patient‑aligned care models.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health record systems.
