About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Leasing Professional to join our community in Southfield. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction through effective marketing, leasing and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications.
• Perform credit and background checks, prepare lease documents and coordinate smooth move‑ins.
• Inspect units before occupancy, ensure they are move‑in ready and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and maintain prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite or Yardi property management systems.
• Experience using online marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
