Assistant Community Manager (Axiom)

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a stabilized residential community. This position handles day‑to‑day accounting tasks, rent collection, invoicing, and uses property‑management software to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices and payables, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and obtain manager approval.
• Generate monthly close‑out and financial reports using Yardi/OneSite.
• Review resident files for delinquent balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Operate property‑management software (Yardi/OneSite) accurately, performing updates and backups.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to verify work performed and facilitate payments.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of assistant community management experience.
• Strong collections, sales, and organizational abilities.
• Preferred experience with RealPage software.
